Mold curtains

 

Mold curtains on injection molding machines for plastic processing
prevent ejected product from falling out of the designated area under the mold.

 

Curtains are unrolled and rolled together with the opening/closing of the mold.
They are attached to the mold fixing platen with the strong neodymium magnets.
(alloys with chemical element Neodymium make strongest permanent magnets).

 

Between the curtain and the mold fixing platen the adjustable space/slot for
mold fixtures and hoses for mold tempering are left.

 

The curtain is made out of strong polyester fiber material,
its semi transparency allows the insight into the mold area.

Due to installed handle, it is very easy to remove one side of the curtain and reach into the mold area.
